Shared Writing-Fables

Fables are make believe stories that have talking animals. Fables teach a lesson. In Uncle Rye and the Moon the lesson is to be very nice, kind and generous. In Heavy Load the lesson is to not carry around bad feelings. Fables tell how something came to be. In How the Elephant Got it’s trunk the crocodile pulled the elephants nose and made it long. In Stella and the Stars, a little girl hears other kids are scared at night. She lets the stars go into the night. Fables teach you lessons and how to be a good person.

  1. Hi Patrick!
Cardiff was so excited to show me that the class wrote this by themselves and used their own thoughts to express what they've learned. It's very cool you included this! Thank you for all the work you do with the kids...Cardiff thinks you're great!
